On our first night in Hangzhou, Wallace and I went to see an incredible show on West Lake, portraying the love story of Madame Bai and Xu Xian. Imagine, hundreds of performers, sets rising out of the water, watched under the stars in one of the most beautiful towns in China. I tried to capture it in these photos but can’t begin to do this justice in just a few shots.

It was magic. Truly.
