Amanda Mooney’s Birthday Weekend! 

It’s funny what a year can bring. There are already years of my life that are less memorable than others, but 2010 will for sure be a year to remember. One large contribution to that is Amanda Mooney. By far the most intelligent and successful woman around-ish my age, in one year of friendship Amanda has brought more enjoyable memories than I can think of. Amanda is not just a coworker but a friend, and we spend our weekends and weekdays laughing, working and creating stories that will one day be retold when we are both senior citizens.

She has already staked claim to my future children; she’s their cultural attaché. They will be whisked away by Aunt Amanda and taken to museums, appropriate independent movies or educational events. The point is, we have already placed stock in our future as friends. I love her and with much happiness am excited to say…
