It’s my last day in Cambodia today. The people I’ve met, the places I’ve seen…. have been unforgettable. The best thing about traveling to a new country is seeing a mom kiss her baby, curious kids run up to say hello, a driver and new friend who wants to show you the countryside he loves, kind strangers who direct you to the best restaurant or shop, the shop worker who tells you her story and dream for her life (short video of that to follow in a few days…)… the moments when you feel in awe of a place that at once feels foreign and familiar. The best thing I did when starting out was to get a passport, get a great job that allows me to experience these parts of the world and give myself the space to figure everything else out later.
