Connor and I baked all day yesterday for a beautiful little housewarming party at his, Jay and Matthew’s new apartment. I made:
-Phyllo tartlets with sauteed peaches, prosciutto, basil, mozzarella, garlic, rosemary, ricotta, cilantro and tomato
-Bruschetta with tomato, fresh garlic, basil, rosemary, a little lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil, placed on ricotta mixed with roasted garlic and cilantro and prosciutto and fresh mozzarella, wrapped in delicate phyllo layers
-Fresh asparagus
-Melon and prosciutto skewers
-Ground mustard, honey and garlic dipping sauce
I sort of just made up the recipes as I was shopping in the grocery store and saw what looked fresh. We ended the day smelling of garlic and smiling with amazing friends.
